Family Matters, Zander & Hannah
My adorable cousin and his girlfriend got engaged back in August and I offered to shoot their engagement pictures for them because they are just absolutely adorable, and we're family. We help each other out, ya know?
When Hannah was talking to me about what kind of scenery she wanted for her engagements, she wanted those beautiful fall wheat fields...the only problem was that all the farmers had just cut their fields for crop about 3 days earlier..oh timing. So I turned to a community Facebook page for local photographers (Hey Kylee Ann) and asked for suggestions on where to find something similar. One of the sweet ladies recommended we go up to Green Canyon and HOLY COW was she right.
We pulled off at the first parking lot and literally just crossed the dirt road into this beautiful field full of yellowed grasses. The sun was just setting perfectly and it gave everything a nice golden glow. When people say shoot at 'Golden Hour' DO IT. There is literally no better lighting and it makes everything look like a dream.
I wish every couple could look at each other and have as much fun together as these two do. Their love is perfect. 💓💓
We ran through the fields, got bit by bees, and danced through the session. Since we're family, they wanted to pay us by taking Tyson and I to Texas Roadhouse. I literally at my weight in those addicting rolls. That cinnamon honey butter gets me every time, man. It is irresistible.
All in all, being a photographer in Utah is a dream with so so many beautiful landscapes to choose from, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
